Occupational Safety & Health
Protecting workers and workplaces under OSH frameworks
This sector covers occupational safety and health — protecting workers while they work: risk assessment, permits to work, personal protective equipment, and work at height, confined spaces and hot work. It is entirely separate from fire protection, suppression and alarm systems, which fall under the Civil Defence Authority and the UAE Fire & Life Safety Code and have their own sector, tools and providers. A company licensed in one is not necessarily licensed in the other.
Compliance with UAE occupational health & safety systems: federal MOHRE requirements, the ADOSH-SF framework issued by the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre, and the Dubai Municipality and free-zone frameworks — risk assessment, permits to work, personal protective equipment, training and inspections.
