Steps to Obtain an ADCDA Certificate
Obtain initial approval or licence from ADDED
Before starting ADCDA requirements you need initial approval for your business activity.
Appoint an ADCDA-certified safety company
Select a company with ADCDA accreditation in the appropriate classification for your activity.
Prepare engineering safety drawings
A certified engineer prepares drawings for alarm/suppression systems and evacuation routes.
ADCDA drawing approval
The company submits drawings to ADCDA for review and approval (typically 7–21 days).
Hassantuk registration
Alarm systems are registered in the central monitoring network linked to ADCDA.
System installation and field inspection
Systems are installed and ADCDA conducts a field inspection to verify compliance.
Civil defence certificate issued
After passing inspection the certificate is issued, valid for one year and renewed annually.
