The Apollo XP95 addressable optical smoke detector is a benchmark device for modern addressable fire-alarm systems. Its optical (photoelectric) chamber responds quickly to the slow-smouldering smoke typical of electrical and furnishing fires, while the XP95 digital protocol and pulsing communication give strong immunity to false alarms and electrical noise. Each detector reports its own address to the panel for precise fire location, is set easily via a DIL address (or XPERT card), and is loop-powered at 17-28V DC with a 360° alarm LED for visibility from any direction. Built to EN 54-7 and LPCB/CE approved, it is and mounts on the standard XP95 base for fast installation and maintenance. It operates from -20°C to +60°C across 0-98% humidity.
