0/7

What the inspector will verify on-site — ensure readiness before the inspection visit

Alarm devices fully operational: smoke detectors, heat detectors, and manual call points

Note: Test each device and confirm the alert reaches the main control panel

Fire extinguishers: charged, properly placed, and not expired

Note: Max 15m between extinguishers — inspection tag must be current

Emergency exit signs illuminated, visible, and unobstructed

Note: Must be visible from any point in the facility, in Arabic and English

Emergency exits unlocked and free of obstructions

Note: Even temporary storage near exits can result in a violation

Hose reels (if applicable): pressurised correctly and easily accessible

Sprinkler heads clean and not painted over or obstructed

Note: Paint on a sprinkler head specifically disables its thermal activation mechanism

Emergency lighting activates during power failure

Note: Test by cutting main power for 30 seconds and verifying illumination
